Today (16/11/2006) the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies (HAOIC) and the Athens Medical Center signed a cooperation agreement for the hospitalization of patients insured by the insurance companies members of the HAOIC in the hospitals of the Company and in particular in the Paedeatrics Center in Maroussi, Paleo Faliro Clinic, Psychiko Clinic, Iasis Peraeus, Peristeri Clinic (15/12/2006), Dafni Clinic (01/2007) and Interbalkan Medical Center Clinic.
Following the singing of the agreement Dr. Vassilis Apostolopoulos, Athens Medical Center CEO stated:
The fact that the negotiations took place in a friendly environment was the triggering event of this agreement. The need of this agreement, with terms and conditions that are mutually beneficial, was the important stepping stone. I do believe that this agreement will prove beneficial for all parties involved in it, but most importantly for the patients.
On the other hand Mr. D Paleologos, President of the Hellenic association of Insurance Companies stated that:
This agreement is the outcome of the continuous efforts of the Insurance companies to offer to their clients top quality service at an affordable price.
