In accordance with Regulation of the Committee of European Community no 2273/2003, article 4, par.4, EFG Eurobank Ergasias S.A. ("the Bank") announces that according to Company Law 2190/1920, article 16, par. 5, and following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of the Shareholders of the Bank dated April 3, 2006 and the Board of Directors' resolution dated April 14, 2006, purchased own shares through the Athens Exchange Member EFG Eurobank Securities, as follows:
a) On 10 July 2006 the Bank purchased 36,100 shares, with average cost price Euro 22.03 per share and total purchase price 795,387.21 Euro.
b) On 11 July 2006 the Bank purchased 10,000 shares, with average cost price Euro 22.14 per share and total purchase price 221,412.68 Euro.
c) On 13 July 2006 the Bank purchased 67,500 shares, with average cost price Euro 22.30 per share and total purchase price 1,504,935.33 Euro.
d) On 14 July 2006 the Bank purchased 68,240 shares, with average cost price Euro 22.09 per share and total purchase price 1,507,136.89 Euro.
e) On 17 July 2006 the Bank purchased 93,153 shares, with average cost price Euro 21.17 per share and total purchase price 1,971,816.97 Euro.
