A substantial increase was noted at the end of the first bimester of 2001, relating to the portfolio premium, as well as the new production of Agricultural Life Insurance, in comparison to the corresponding bimester of 2000.More specifically the portfolio increased by 27.3%, reaching 3,732 million drachmas against 2,932 million drachmas in 2000. The new yearly production increased by 1,423 million drachmas against the 588 million drachmas in the first bimester of 2000, i.e. the new production of the first bimester of 2001 equals 2.5 times approximately the new production of the first bimester of 2000.These results are increased substantially, in relation to the targets the company set up for the first bimester of 2001. In the meantime the company by the cooperation of the new Asset Management Company, a member of the association of the Agricultural Bank, the Agricultural Asset Management, is advancing towards the introduction of a series of new and modern pensioning-investing products mainly of capital guarantee and stable income.Meanwhile is planning new health products that will utilize the services of the subsidiary health company TCN (Doctors' Networks, Diagnostic Services etc) as well as the call centers.
