Mr Yiannis Makris has been appointed manager of the London branch of EFG Eurobank Ergasias. Mr. Makris holds Bachelor's degrees from the Panteion School of Political Science and the Law School of the University of Athens, as well as a Master's degree (LLM) in Corporate and English Commercial Law from the University of London. He was on the staff of the National Bank of Greece for many years, from which he departed recently with the rank of Director. From 1986 until 1989 he worked in the London branch of the National Bank of Greece as deputy director of Shipping and other loans. From 1990 until 1991 he was alternate Director, and from 1992 until 2001 he was General Manager. Mr. Makris is taking up the post of Manager of the EFG Eurobank Ergasias London branch, where he will work to develop further its activities and business.-
