With the occasion of relative press reports in reference to a decision of the Hellenic Federation of Professional PRO-PO Agents (POEPP)-especially given that no document announcing such a decision has ever reached the Company-OPAP S.A. announces the following: OPAP S.A., having already stated explicitly, clearly, and in writing its policy and positions to each and every one of the five thousand five hundred (5.500) agents - associates strictly dismisses all allegation regarding the company's uncompromising stance, aggressive strategy and hostile behaviour, claims not only unfair to the OPAP but also abusive to the truth. At any rate and regardless of the legal relationship between OPAP and the authorized for selling its products Agents, the company explicitly states that it will continue to normally provide the services required for the operation of its games and this coming Sunday, 9th of July. It is also clearly stated that as a listed in the ATHEX company, and despite the aforementioned issue, OPAP's terminals will be functioning normally on Sunday July 9th. As such, OPAP reserves all its legal rights and may resort to legal action against anyone responsible for lost revenues-both for the Company and the Greek State-especially this particular time period that the company's efforts to combat the sad occurrence of illegal gambling and its consequences are well known.
