As of Saturday, March 3rd, new fixed telephony tariffs will be effective following yesterday's decision of the National Telecommunications and Postal Commission.According to OTE previous announcement, on January 10th, new tariffs will be as follows: ·Monthly rental: 2,800 drs per month vs 2,400 drs, an increase of 16,7%. ·Local calls: 10,5 drs per minute vs 9,0 drs at peak hours and 10,5 drs every two minutes during off-peak hours (22:00 · 08:00 daily), representing an increase of 16,7%. ·Long Distance calls: 28 drs per minute vs 40 drs, a reduction of 30%. ·International calls: Average reduction of 10% (for E.U. countries, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore etc. charges are 84 drs per minute vs 94 drs).Moreover, calls from fixed phones to COSMOTE mobile subscribers will be charged 98 drs per minute, instead of 110 drs.
