The Group's revenues and profit before taxes presented a significant increase of 24.9% and 104.2%, respectively, for the 1st Q of 2006. More specifically, the Group's revenues amounted to Euro 34.5 mil vs. Euro 27.6 mil. And profit before taxes amounted to Euro 4.9 mil. Vs. Euro 2.4 mil. of the same period in 2005. Iaso General had a significant contribution in the improvement of the Group's results. More specifically Iaso General's revenues, increased by 36.6% reaching the amount of Euro 13.1 mil. Vs. Euro 9.5 mil. of the same period in 2005. The losses before taxes were reduced by 48.6% reaching the amount of Euro1.3 mil. Vs. Euro 2.6 mil. The parent company Iaso S.A. increased its revenues by 16.3% (Euro21.02 mil. vs. Euro 18.06 mil.), while at the same time profit before taxes increased by 21.5%. Finally, remarkable is the contribution of the stem cells operation, in increasing the revenues and profits of the subsidiary company Medstem S.A., more specifically revenues increased by 773% (from Euro 0.059 mil. to Euro 0,517 mil) and profit before taxes by 664% (from losses Euro 0,028 mil. to profit Euro 0,161 mil.).
