INTRALOT’ S FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR YEAR 2000

Athens, Greece · March 1st , 2001 · INTRALOT' s consolidated turnover for the year 2000 reached Euro 242.1 million compared to Euro 157.3 million for the same period last year. Profits before taxes have boomed to Euro 41.5 million compared to Euro 8.6 million, a significant increase of 386%.This impressive increase is mainly contributed to the launching of fixed odds betting games in Greece organized by INTRALOT's subsidiary ?BETTING COMPANY?. It's worth mentioning that the fixed odds betting games turnover reached Euro 1.05 billion and they are now considered the most successful betting games worldwide.Furthermore, INTRALOT's subsidiary in Romania, ?LOTROM? has undertaken the development and operation of the VSAT communication system needed for the upgrading of CNLR'S on line system. Also INTRALOT together with LOTROM has been awarded a ten-year contract for the implementation of a Video Lottery program in Romania. This project will be the first Video Lottery system in the wider area of Eastern Europe.The General Shareholder's Assembly of INTRALOT decided to extend the scope of the company's statute so as to include the activities of INTRALOT in the development and operation of audiovisual, e-commerce, multimedia and other similar systems.Finally, INTRALOT' s General Shareholders Assembly decided to establish stock options program for the company's workforce.
