INTRACOM IT SERVICES, as a member of the Intracom IT Services-Infoquest-Altec consortium, has undertaken the implementation of two important projects that contribute to the upgrading of Taxisnet for the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance, upon contract award by Information Society SA.
The project ''Taxisnet-Applications'' is important and mission-critical for the Ministry, since it concerns the provision of taxation services through the Internet. The project''s budget is Euro 1.7 m. and will be implemented within 15 months.
The project is for the General Secretariat of Information Systems (GSIS) and includes software applications development for the provision of e-taxation services, information and content management, the provision of migration and education training for GSIS personnel, as well as rendering the system in productive operation. In addition, the contract foresees the conducting of a series of studies, such as application, security, citizens'' information plan, and the creation of a contact center.
The second project, ''Taxisnet-Local remote points networks of the National Network of the Ministry of Economy & Finance'', concerns the infrastructure upgrading of the Ministry''s Peripheral Services local network, in order to enable it to leverage the modern applications and services (network, telematic, etc.) that are implemented in parallel, under the supervision of the General Secretariat of Information Systems.
