Increased market share (turnover 257,7 m. euro, increase 10,68%), sustained profitability (8,44 m. euro earnings before tax) with all types of competition present

During 2005 all types of competition, mainly international, appeared in the Greek market. On the one hand, were the Greek and foreign Internet shops. On the other hand, were the principal players of the European retail commerce; their main characteristic was the large store aiming mainly at the domestic user.

The results of the aforementioned competition had two sides. The first side was the decrease of profitability (as it was already noted) due to the aggressive pricing policy adopted. The other side made clear that PLAISIO COMPUTERS is a company that not only can maintain its leading market position under any circumstances but can also increase its market share, remaining at the same time profitable. Based on the year?s profitability the dividend to be approved by the Annual General Shareholders? Meeting is 0,25 Euro per share.

At the same time with the competition in Greece, our company expanded in the international market as well. Our aim was to measure our strength, not only "in our court", but also in the international environment. We created an international multi-channel unit in Bulgaria, fully adjusted to the local conditions with two Greek and thirty-eight Bulgarian employees.
