RILKEN S.A. ANNOUNCES THE RESULTS OF 2002
PROPOSED DIVIDEND 0.30 PER SHARE

Today Rilken S.A. reports the results of 2002. The company recorded net sales of 24,155 TEURO and an operating profit of 4,731 TEURO.

Kifissia/Greece Rilken S.A. reported in the year 2002 net sales of 24,155 TEURO, an increase of 1.3% vs the previous year.

Operating profit of Rilken SA reached 4,731 TEURO, a slight increase vs the previous year. Profit before taxes decreased by 884 TEURO to 4,075 TEURO. This was the result of lower revenues from extraordinary non operating income, and higher provisions in 2002 by 542 TEURO (225 TEURO for bad debts and 317 TEURO for the adjustment of the participation in our Subsidiary Rilken Moscow)

For the Rilken Group, which consists of Rilken S.A. and its retail distribution company Schwarzkopf & Rilken Hellas S.A., consolidated net sales saw an increase of 7.4% to 48,183 TEURO.This increase was mainly influenced by Sales of Inventories of Schwarzkopf and Rilken Hellas to the parent company Henkel Hellas caused by the introduction of a new distribution agreement (a one time non recurring event).

Operating profit of the Rilken Group increased by 1,434 TEURO (33.7%) to 5,686 TEURO and consolidated profits before taxes increased by 955 TEURO (21.4%) to 5,414 TEURO.

For the year 2002, the Board of Directors recommends a dividend of 0.30 per share.

Rilken S.A. is an Athens based manufacturer and marketer of Cosmetics, specialized in Hair Care products. The company is a member of the Henkel Group which is the majority shareholder of Rilken S.A. via its subsidiary Henkel Hellas S.A.
