Attica Holdings S.A. received from its shareholder Mr. Pericles Panagopulos the following statement:
''Reports which very recently appeared in the Press alleging that the undersigned in his capacity as principal shareholder of Attica Holdings S.A. has sold or agreed to sell his shares to APAX Company, are totally unfounded. The undersigned wishes to reassure the investment community that there is and there has been no agreement whatsoever for the sale of shares I control in Attica Holdings S.A.''
