NIREUS S.A. would like to clarify the following, in relation to certain information posted today and yesterday in the financial press:
In newspaper ΚΑΘΗΜΕΡΙΝΗ (19/10/2006, pg. 28), and ΚΕΡΔΟΣ (19/10/06, pg. 26) it is written that NIREUS S.A. has already proceeded to the buying-out of a company in Spain.
NIREUS S.A. would like to inform that it currently examines possible business proposals in that country, so at present no such buy-out has taken place.
In newspaper ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΑ (18/10/2006, pg. 9), certain comments are made on estimated consolidated financial results for fiscal year 2007.
NIREUS S.A. would like to inform that no such information has been released yet and that it will proceed to certain announcements regarding this issue, at the most appropriate time.
