EUROMEDICA SA, following its plan for further expansion of its network, informs the investment public and its shareholders that in 15/01/2007 it signed a preliminary agreement for the acquisition of the 49% of the medical centre Ygeia Magnitiki Diagnosi for the price of euro 1.47 mill.
It is about a medical centre which is located in Ptolemaida and that it allocates magnetic tomography (MRI), digital mammography, digital panoramic x-ray, and bone densitometry.
The above medical centre is accommodated today in a leased space of 250 m2 while exists the prospect of its relocation in a privately-owned plot of 1 acre, at the same area, along with its development through other primary health-care services.
It is to be noted that with the above acquisition the network of the medical centres of EUROMEDICA in Greece amounts in 25, out of which the 14 are located in Attica (the two of them will begin their operations soon), 4 in Thessalonica including the new laboratory EVROGENETIKI, 2 in Crete, 2 in Volos and from 1 in Larisa, Serres and Ptolemaida.
