In response to the letter sent on 5/1/2007 by the Hellenic Capital Market Committee regarding the article posted in daily newspaper "Hrimatistirio", concerning a thirty year lease contract for the Olympic Slalom Canoe/Kayak facilities in Eliniko, Athens, signed by the Consortium "Hellinikon Recreational and Sports Parks", in which GEK SA participates holding a 25% share (at equal stakes with J&P AVAX SA - VIOTER SA - Corfu Waterpark), clarifies the following: the annual lease amounts to three million five hundred euros (euro 3.500.000), to be adjusted annually according to the Price Consumer Index increase plus 2% for the first 15 years. Consequently, the total lease to be paid to "Olympic Properties SA" will approximately amount to one hundred thirty thousand million euros (euro 130.000.000) in today''s rates.
