As formerly published in EGNATIA BANK S.A.'s corporate announcement of 23.03.2006, the Bank's management acknowledges that its main shareholders have discussed the need for the Bank to expand through buy-outs and mergers so as to achieve a greater concentration of powers in the mid-size bank market. If in the future any such decision is reached by the Bank's management bodies it will be so announced to the investing public as dictated by law.
