Marfin Financial Group announces that Mr. Efthimios Bouloutas will join in as the new Chief Executive Officer at its subsidiary Marfin Bank. Prior to joining Marfin Bank Mr. E. Bouloutas was General Manager at EFG Eurobank Ergasias and member of its Executive Committee, Chief Executive Officer of EFG Eurobank Asset Management and member of the board of Directors at EFG Private Bank Luxemburg. He has also served for a number of years as Chief Executive Officer at Ionian Mutual Funds. Mr. E. Bouloutas holds a Ph.D. degree in Computational Fluid Mechanics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and a Civil Engineering Degree from National Technical University of Athens. He has also conducted postdoctoral research at Princeton University. Mrs. N. Placomichelaki, who is currently acting Chief Executive Officer at Marfin Bank, will assume the post of Vice-Chairman with the additional responsibility to supervise the expansion of the Bank in Retail Banking.
