Through this acquisition GERMANOS GROUP exceeds 380 stores in Poland, which operate through two of its subsidiaries, GTI Sp. z.o.o. and GERMANOS Polska, offering services of the two largest mobile telephony providers in the country, Orange and ERA respectively

With 40 new stores, GERMANOS' subsidiary in Poland, GTI SP. z.o.o., is reinforced following the acquisition of 34 selling points from the company AUTO ELEKTRONIK and 6 from the company A-TEL. As a result, GTΙ Sp.z.o.o.- one of the two subsidiaries of GERMANOS GROUP in Poland - today includes 170 stores and constitutes Orange's major partner in the local market.

According to the Director of International Retail of GERMANOS Group, Mr. Dimitris Blatsios, "This new acquisition reinforces our position in the particularly competitive polish market, while at the same time verifies the successful cooperation we have established with ORANGE company which is based on the pursuit of our mutual interests. The reinforcement of our position in the polish market constitutes the basic axis of our development strategy and through this new acquisition, we succeeded in adding 40 very dynamic stores to our existing network. We are continuously alert for spotting and taking advantage of new opportunities".

It is worth noting that GERMANOS is active in Poland through its 2 subsidiaries, GTI Sp. z.o.o. and GERMANOS Polska, offering services of the two mobile telephony providers that operate in the country (Orange and ERA respectively). With a total of 380 stores, GERMANOS GROUP holds the largest retail sale network for telecommunication products and services, in a market with considerable margins for further development.
